Bell housings and couplings make possible to make the connection between the IEC electric motor and a wide range of hydraulic pumps on the market (vane, pistons, gears and screws).
The necessary components are:
• the bell housings, used as mechanical connection elements between the electric motor and the hydraulic pump
• the coupling joints between the motor and pump transmission shafts.
Other accessories for coupling are:
• the foot brackets, supporting IEC Electric motors with B5 flange without feet
• the damping rings.
Bell housings
Made of pressure die-cast aluminum alloy, they can be monobloc (LMC, LMG and LDC series) or modular; in this case the bell housing is made up of two elements (BMC series motor base and FP or FR pump flange) or three elements (BMT motor base, intermediate adapter AD and FP pump flange).
For each size of the IEC electric motor the bell housings are made with different heights and interfaces, suitable for the flanges of most hydraulic pumps.
They are also available in Low Noise version, capable of significantly reducing the noise level of the system.

Couplings
Drive couplings provide the means by which power is transmitted from the electric motor to the hydraulic pump.
Thanks to their flexible structure they provide for angular and radial misalignments between motor and pump and are able to absorb shocks and vibrations.
They are made of aluminum (SGEA series), cast iron (SGEG) and steel (SGES), while the spiders placed between the two half-couplings (EGE) can be made with different hardnesses to guarantee the best performance with any application.
Half couplings can be supplied for cylindrical shaft with metric and imperial dimensions as well for splined shafts as per specification DIN, ISO and SAE.

DAMPING RINGS - ANM series
Positioned between the bell-housing motor flange and lid of the tank, they help to reduce the transmission of the vibrations and emission of noise generated by the system.
Damping rings are available for IEC electric motors from size 80 to size 180.
FOOT BRACKETS - PDM series
Built in aluminum alloy with high mechanical resistance, foot brackets are suitable for the horizontal installation of motors with B5 flange.
The range is available from size 71 to size 180.
CLEANING COVERS - OB series
They allow easy access inside the oil tank to allow inspection and cleaning.
DAMPING RODS - MPDR series
Damping rods are element to reduce the transmission of the vibrations and emission of noise generated of the system. They are available for IEC Electric motors from size 71 to size 315L and for MP FILTRI foot brackets.
